Enel Russia to invest 132 mln euros into 90 MW windmill farm

SOCHI, Feb 15 (PRIME) -- Power producer Enel Russia plans to invest 132 million euros into construction of a 90-megawatt (MW) windmill farm in the Rostov Region, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Enel Russia’s General Director Carlo Palasciano Villamagna signed a corresponding agreement with the region’s Governor Vasily Golubev, and the project has already been included into the list of priority investment projects of the region.

The windmill farm’s launch is scheduled for 2020, and it may be able to produce about 300 gigawatt-hours of power per year.
